Zille
Pronounced like “Jill.” NOT “Silly,” or “File.”
Means “Shadow.” (Also, in German it means “small barge,” which I find quite amusing.)

Zille Defeu has swung between the front and the back of the camera for years. Even her introduction to photography was modeling for her boyfriend in freshman year of high school. By junior year of high school, she had a photo major, and was already freaking out her teacher and classmates with her odd subject matters and points of view.
In college she was mostly behind the camera, trying to convince girls to pose naked for her. When they wimped out, she did her own nude self-portraits.

Also during college, Zille discovered that she was a raging pervert, although her friends had known this about her all along. Many years of a journey of discovery followed (indeed, the journey is far from over, still!) and involved things like working at a peep show, running her own porn site, and lots of time spent playing with friends and lovers as either a Top or bottom.

After college, her career in fetish and erotic modeling distracted her from her proper place, behind the camera, but taught her a great deal about how to work with models and all sorts of things that models dislike in photographers. Many photographers she worked with felt that Zille was a better model for being a photographer, and she now feels that she is a better photographer for having been a model.

Now Zille is focusing on fetish photography with her own unique perspective (although she still hops back in front of the camera for an occasional spanking or fetish shoot), and an assortment of (frequently very silly) projects she is enjoying tremendously. Graphics and web design are her vocation. She also takes time to write the occasional article for Skin Two, and will someday finish that erotic novel she’s working on….

She a hardcore geek who loves reading science fiction (favorite authors: Heinlein, Delany, Bujold), fantasy (Gaiman, Tolkein, McKinley, McKillip, Pullman), silly vampire romances (Yarbo, Armstrong, Hamilton, etc.), and historical novels (Lindsey David, Wilbur Smith); eating dark chocolate, filet mignon, and sushi; dancing to thumpy beats or standing around in latex in clubs; and she loves snuggling with her Master on the sofa and watching Dr. Who, murder mysteries, and cheesy romantic movies.

Zille is in a happy, committed, discipline-based relationship, which is the main topic of her blog, on-going since 2005. (An off-shoot of the Livejournal she kept from 2001-5.) She and Mr. Defeu were married in 2008, in a beautiful dream wedding.

Mr Defeu

Mr Duncan M. Defeu was born in England, and emigrated to the U.S. (for work reasons) over two decades ago. He still retains his English accent, although Brits say he has picked up American slang and phraseology.

Mr Defeu knew from an early age that he was into spanking — as a schoolboy he walked past the infamous Janus shop in London, and that moment changed his life.

He has a huge collection of Janus, Blushes, and other spanking magazines from the U.K. and U.S., on a shelf over the bed in which Zille and he sleep every night.

Mr Defeu is also a fetish photographer and has fetishes for latex catsuits and women in equestrienne garb. He often has Zille dress up in those, or in schoolgirl uniforms for his pleasure.
