I was going to do a different post today, but then I found this video on YouTube, which has to be the most hysterical “presentation on BDSM” ever. It was done by 19 year old “band geek who loves anime.” I’m hoping that for this student, English is a second language….

This is a alternative genre presentation I made for my English class. This is not meant to bring too much enjoyment in anyones life. This is strictly for my English project.
So, make sure when you watch it that it does not bring too much enjoyment to your life!
What I love most is that while “not everyone in the lifestyle is a swinger” (which is, uh, true, because very few of my kinky friends would ever describe themselves as a “swinger,” prefering the term “polyamorous”) time is taken to explain that “swinger means someone who goes from partner to partner, not really having a solid relationship.” It is also, in the student’s opinion, “creepy.”
Wow! Really?! I think someone got a bit lax with their studying of alternative lifestyles, here. Because most swingers would really see themselves as people in commited relationships, who like to swap partners with another commited couple, or add a friend to join in their “solid” fun. The only people I know who go “from partner to partner,” are the serial monogamists who date person after person, sometimes ending their last relationship by cheating on their old partner with the new partner!
But hey, at least the views on BDSM, while very amusing, are mostly positive. It’s just like watching a really clueless anthroplogist studying a culture that he doesn’t understand in the slightest, and making all of these very self-confident statements that are, while not being entirely wrong, certainly not indicative of the least amount of comprehension!
