Well, my friends kaya and pixiepie have both had recently upheavals in our M/s relationships, and so had I.

Now, happily, all three of us are settling in to renewed happiness, if somewhat different situations.

In my case, it’s a matter of my point of view. I felt that the Master/slave part of our relationship was dying, and so I was too upset to take in reality — that this really is a time for us to step back a bit, with the promise of stepping forward to some serious and heavy M/s in the future, after I’ve promised “to love, to honor, to obey, and to serve” him. If the time preceding it is not the most intense of our relationship, well, it really doesn’t matter, because those vows are going to change everything.
However, my Master has listened to me, and play-time is increased! We haven’t had any huge, lengthy, world-shattering scenes — just little, renewing, perfect ones.

What kaya said in her previous post is exactly what my Master and I needed: he shouldn’t put his short term concerns (“Is she stressed from work, a bit worn out, etc.”) ahead of when he wants to scene.
