I am a dedicated reader of The Register (whom I hope do not mind being linked to by filthy pervert bloggers) and today my two worlds crashed, like particles in the Large Hadron Collider (Also known as “Large Hardon Collider” when news media slips up. Or is written by 15 year olds!), when I read this marvellous titbit of news, from El Reg reporting on the LHC:

Apparently the key to the business involves looking into something called “CP-violation”, which is some sort of deviance from normal behaviour on the part of antibottom beauties and their relatives – thus the more of them that can be created at the LHC, the sooner the missing 96 per cent of the universe can be tracked down – perhaps hidden in another dimension or something.

Whoooaaah! “CP-Violation”?! “Deviance from normal behaviour on the part of antibottom beauties”?!

It’s like the “boffins” at the LHC were asking for a dose of “perverting reality,” after a long night of staying up and doing complex maths.*

Either that or scientists are all pervs. Which I think is probably quite likely.

*Another thing I just have to quote is the part which nearly made me narf hot tea out my nose. I should know better than to drink my morning tea while catching up with El Reg!

By some process involving extremely hard sums and possibly some type of reinforced, extremely close-fitting hat to prevent their heads exploding (we could do with one of those just writing about it) the boffins managed to identify all of this on the mad snakes’ wedding of particle tracks pictured above and add up how much the original antibottomed beauty had weighed (5.32 Giga-electron-Volts, in case you’re wondering) pleasingly confirming that they had indeed summoned matter – and antimatter – into existence using only French and Swiss grid electricity.

I have so much to write about the party, and I can’t yet organize all those thoughts in one place, but the first thing I want to do is give a view of the party from the people attending it. Here are a number of tweets written from before, during, and after the party. (Although they are in reverse order, latest to oldest, below.) It was wonderful how many people tweeted their kind thoughts about the party, and it makes me very happy to read. It also gives the best peek into what the party was like as it was going on – as opposed to what both I and other people write about it later.

There will finally be a spanking party in the San Francisco Bay Area!

That is … I’m doing it! And, uh, it’s in 11 days. Eeeep!

I’ve written all about it over at the SF-CP website (yes, “San Francisco Corporal Punishment” – I wanted to be inclusive!) so I won’t repeat myself over here. But I will say that the wonderful people at ShadowLane and Florida Moonshine have been wonderful with their help and support, as well as a number of spanko friends who are stepping up and saving my arse (presumably so it can later be spanked, of course!)

And I’ve just finalized the plans today to have a school role-play scene at the event, with a schoolmaster and secretary teaching and disciplining the students. (Whom, I assume, are all going to be some level of naughty!)

I’d love if you could make it to the party. But if you can’t, I’ll just take all the good luck and “You’ll do fine” comments I can get!

There are questions going around the spanko community (both online and off) about the identity of “Fiona Locke,” author of Over the Knee
and On the Bare.

I’ve read Over the Knee, and just adored it. And in the afterword, we read: “Apparently I’m the first Nexus author to pose for the cover of her own book.” And there she is, bright red bottom upturned over the knee — truth in advertising, for once!

But we don’t get to see Ms. Locke’s face….

I think it’s quite obvious from the writing that this author does actually have experience with the wide word of CP (unlike some authors of spanking erotica, but we won’t get into that here!) Also, even aside from the cover picture, we can tell the author is young: “Angie” is web-savvy (indeed, in the course of the story she takes part in a spanking website), goes out clubbing, and there’s a scene involving one of the characters stripping to ZZ Top in a North Carolinian strip-joint.

Of course, this doesn’t actually mean the author is a “she,” at all. In fact, it’s been bandied about that Fiona/Angie is actually Abel from The Spanking Writers (Although Abel denies it, he doesn’t say it’s not his wife Haron….)

So, what do we know…?

• We have the names “Fiona Locke” and “Angie“, each with their own website. (With the latter website referencing the former, so “Angie” is not afraid of being “outed” as Fiona — but Fiona doesn’t seem to want to link to Angie.)
• In the back of the book, Lucy McLean from Northern Spanking is thanked. Does Lucy know Fiona/Angie? Has she seen her face?
  On the English Vice website, Angie thanks “my friend Mija” — does Mija know who she is? If Lucy and Mija know her, has she been going to spanking parties all this time incognito?!
• Also on the English Vice website, we can see a bit of Angie’s face…
• EmmaJane claims not to be Fiona/Angie.
