Drama in the Spankosphere…

Over the past week or so, there has been a certain furor in a corner of the spankosphere, which impacts a small amount of material that I didn’t write but which I’ve been proud to host here in my blog. Anyone who has been aware of this Sturm Und Drang will know that, basically, some things were presented as autobiographical which were in fact fictional. I have now re-categorized them as fiction, but have no intention of removing them because, regardless of the whether they are fact or fiction, they tell a great story.
There are many many aspects to this situation, which I’m going to ignore on a “least said soonest mended” basis. But I will make a general comment, as follows:
Stories are important, whether they are true to life or the product of a fertile imagination. My fantasies, as you may have noticed, are important to me. Some characters created by Robert A. Henlein
This blog is fueled by my fantasies. It’s a wonderful bonus that so many of them have come true.
But that’s enough about that! I think everyone wants to move onward and forward … or rather, downwards and behind!
Remember how I complained that not enough marks were showing up on my bot after the last punishment, well, my Master found a way to take care of that. I think you can figure out how….
I usually give the write-up before the picture, but today you guys get the picture first, and you can wonder about all the marks until tommorow! Please note that the old marks from the punishment are finally looking “more like it” — I guess it just took ‘em a while to “develop”!
CONTEST: See if you can name all the implements that were used on my bottom!

I saw the title of your post and hurried over hoping this was a new drama I could make a lot worse, lol. Just kidding. Things have calmed down and all appears well these days.
I agree that fantasies are vital. I’ve told people for years that without a fantasy life, I’d have no life at all.

I was bouncing back and forth trying to decide which innocent little comment I could add to the fire. On one hand I could make the suggestion I thought all porn was in fact fake… a viewpoint probably encouraged by the growing popularity of ‘reality’ porn. Over here on the other hand, there is the hubbub that Robin McKinley has made recently with her suggestion that our newest president is not in fact Black but rather a white guy with a tan.
Descissions descissions.
I’ve seen references to this on Bonnie’s site and now on yours. Aside from vague descriptions, I’m still no wiser as to the details of what this was about. And maybe I don’t need to be.
Oh, and nice picture btw. You get “top marks” for that one! Photographically speaking, this shot tends to underexposure while the previous one tended towards overexposure. I think that’s a factor in how marks show up. In general you get more saturated colours from slight underexposure, as I’m sure you’re well aware.
OK, I’ll bite… cane, belt (or strap), paddle and slipper! At least, that looks like it should cover it all, but then again, as you alluded to, looks can be deceiving, lol!
I, for one, am just tickled to pieces to be done writing about the angst… it’s all in the past and it is clear sailing ahead here at Casa d’Amore!

Bill — Naughty naughty! All porn is made with intention, which means that if you count “real” only un-deliberate sex, then no porn is real, and a good deal of sex isn’t real either!
And Robin just pointed out that Mr. Obama is not “only” black but has white heritage, too, so he is and should be considered a president for ALL of us. Which you know of course, you fire-starter!
Karl — Yes, you’re much better out of the mess. It wasn’t nice or pretty or even remotely fun. And, thank you! Its more than over/underexposure, of course, the direction the light comes from plays a big part. The last one was done with just the light from the room, and the poor lil camera was doing its best but overcompensated. This time we used the on-camera flash but my Master stood way back but zoomed the lense so the marks wouldn’t get blown out. I still think we just need to keep pro-lighting equiptment in the bedroom all the time!

What makes something ‘really’ porn has very little to do with the intentions of the creator and a lot more to do with the intentions of the person looking at it. The terms ‘fake’ and ‘real’ of course in this context have more to with the truth of the scenario being depicted. I would argue that there is a certain ‘truth’ to Scripted porn in that it is acknowledged to be a fictional scenario. ‘Reality’ Porn on the other hand has more in common with Professional Wrestling in that it is scripted but the idea is for it to appear to be spontaneous. The problem you mentioned seems to be one step below that in that the script was written yet it was never acted out. Of course this isn’t a value judgement because a couple who happens to flip on the camera just before they’re hopping into bed doesn’t always make for the best of porn.
As for McKinley.. I didn’t see that interpretation. I read it more like: All you people who think you’re getting a great victory by having our first gay president are mistaken since he’s bisexual and that just doesn’t count.

Oh, yes, “reality” or “amateur” porn (as with t.v.) is much more fake than any other porn out there!
