Mayhem & Trouble interview the authors of The Ethical Slut

One of the reasons I wasn’t around so much in the past couple weeks was that I was madly trying to catch up on all sorts of things. One of which was re-uploading the videos Miss Maggie Mayhem and I are doing together, the “Mayhem & Trouble” series. I’ve re-done them all, and they can be found here on youTube.
I’ve also just put up a video which was shot at IMsL ‘09, where we interviewed Janet Hardy and Dossie Easton, authors of the seminal work on polyamory, The Ethical Slut: A Practical Guide to Polyamory, Open Relationships & Other Adventures
It’s a fun interview, I think, made more amusing by the fact that Maggie is channeling Hunter S. Thompson… Also, find out what advice Janet has for Maggie’s jealous cat! 
If I could ask a favour of you all — Maggie and I think that our videos were pulled last time due to a vindictive person “flagging” our videos, even though I’ve gone over the YouTube terms of service and have made sure our videos are within their standards. If you could please take a moment from your day and leave a positive comment about (any of) our videos, particularly indicating that our work is useful and/or beneficial resource, we’d really appreciate it, because if enough people do that, YouTube is more likely to take the time to consider the matter, and not just yank our stuff off because it’s the easiest way to deal with the situation….

Zille, great idea to do interviews like this. However I think your sound recording technique needs some work. In spots it’s hard to hear what’s being said.
Trew Audio has a good book on location sound, which I’ve read recently and can recommend — not that I’m much of an expert myself.
Thank you, Karl! And yes, I wish I could pump up the volume in some parts of the videos — when my Master got me the video camera for Christmas, he didn’t know I’d be doing stuff like this. We know about the issue, and we’re getting a boom mic soonest. Actually, I think for having only an on-camera mic (that being, an entire *lack* of “sound recording technique”!), we’ve done a pretty durn good job!
