“Joy to the world My Master’s cum…”

Sorry I didn’t send out good wishes from my Master and me on the 25th, but I didn’t get on the computer all day! We are having a very good time with my family, actually, which is lovely.

Here, to make up for it, are some very amusing rewritten holiday tunes:

Jingle Bells
Whipping on the back
With a horsewhip that can flay
Hear the bottom yell
Screaming all the way
Bells on his tits ring
Make my spirits bright
Oh, what fun it is to whip
A writhing slave tonight
Oh, jingle bells
Whack his balls
Make the poor slave pay
Don’t forget, he gave his nuts to you on Christmas Day

Joy to the World
Joy to the world
My Master’s cum
Let me receive the same
Let every hole
Prepare him room
He’s ramming in his fist
He’s ramming in his fist
He’s ramming,he’s ramming
In his fist

He rules my world
With fear and pain
And makes me always prove
The glories of His righteousness
And wonders of His love
And wonders of His love
And wonders of His love
And wonders, and wonders of His love

These are from Miss Maggie Mayhem, and there are more over there to enjoy!

I hope you all are having wonderful and fun-filled (be it kinky or not) holidays! :D

Kinky quotes, Zille at a bondage show

There’s a few unrelated things I’m tossing together in this post…

First, an amusing quote from Abel & Haron:

I love that there was a statue with such specialised miracle powers. ‘The statue is not amused! Thrash them harder!’

Next, an amusing bit of Lolkat-ese from kaya:

Domming. He’s doing it wrong!

Finally, here’s some pictures from Friday night. My Master and I went out to a combination art show and bondage performance. I’m sitting in the background in a number of these pictures, and in all of them, I manage not to be looking at the performance (and I look bored out of my mind, as well!) Really, it was a lovely and unique performance (the rigger suspended the model — and they were BOTH wearing blindfolds!) and I had a great time seeing Lochai , Miss Maggie Mayhem, Thomas Roche, and a number of other cool friends — just perfect to see friends and have a little taste of the local kink scene before going home and dealing with family!

Oh! And since I’m actually posting on a Sunday (my Master is lost to the world, working on the new server he’s building), I get to join in with the My Bottom Smarts Spanko Brunch #153. The question today is:

Have you any special spanking-related plans or wishes for this holiday season? Are there any noteworthy gifts or events in your plans? If not, what would you like to be getting or doing?

Well, we will be stuck at my parent’s house for Christmas, so any spankings that occur will have to be done very quietly – and I’m not generally known for being quiet, so if he does spank me, he has to gruffly order me not to make any noise – and I have to beg to stuff my face in a pillow! ;)

This year there are no directly-related spanking gifts – when we have those, we open them at home before we leave (and of course, try them out!)

One of the best I’ve ever given him was a Weighted Bookmark that has the words, “Regard the weight of words rather than their number” (Cicero) stamped in the leather. I figured it applied not just to words, but to spanks, as well! It’s a good, if nasty, little spanking tool, and very portable – yet is not obviously a spanking implement (except to spankos, who would never use it for anything else!)

But, happily, we will be home in time for New Years, and my perfect way to celebrate it would be for us to drink a lot of champagne (several bottles of our favorite brand have already been laid in!) and have sex and spankings all night long – how better to ring in the New Year?!

The Vintage Erotica Collection (1920-1960)

“All I want for Christmas is…”

Well, no, that’s not true. I’m a greedy little girl and want lots of things! But I would really love to find The Vintage Erotica Collection under the tree! (But I don’t particularly want my family to buy it for me for obvious reasons.) My friend Maggie Mayhem reviewed it over on her blog, saying:

“I’m a bit of a retro-sexual. I’ve always loved porn from yesteryear, especially when it comes from the silver age of cinema.

It’s easy to think we discovered sex or at the very least perfected it. It’s hard enough to think of our parents having sex let alone our grandparents. Maybe I’m a bit odd in that I can’t get enough of vintage porn. I’m not really alone. [...]

I enjoy a good moving picture though, even if it isn’t a talkie. I really liked Vintage Erotica Anno 1920. Released by Cult Epics, it is an incredible collection of mostly French erotic films. They do feature hardcore sex and some pretty sexy fetish scenes as well. If you’re looking to build up a collection of the origins of porn as we know it, it’s a really good place to start. You can buy by the decade as well and watch the trends and evolution of filmed sex.
Enjoying a vintage hand job
What I really enjoyed about this film is the whimsy behind much of the porn and the willingness to cross genres. Most contemporary porn is put into individual categories and can be very single minded. This is fantastic if you’re just looking for anal sex, lesbian porn, bondage, pissing (and hey, we all get a one track mind sometimes) but what about those times when you want your porn to dip its toes into several genres at once? In many of the flicks in this DVD you’ll find a blending of sex acts.

The movies featured in this DVD are what kick started porn in America. “The Valley” in Los Angeles, CA did not always have the distinction of being the porn capital of the world. Everything sex used to come out of Paris, France. Aside from beating back the nazis, American soldiers brought back “French postcards” as well as memories of the reels shown in the brothels. The result was a chain reaction leading to the establishment of the site you’re looking at right now.

I do recommend this DVD and the ones that follow it in succession if you can get your hands on a copy. I certainly enjoyed it and it’s the kind of thing I force my friends to sit through as well so naturally I’m telling you all about it.”

Doing a spanking blog

I always miss the MBS Spanko Brunch over at My Bottom Smarts, because Mr Defeu and I always spend that day doing stuff: either running errands and doing stuff around the house, or doing kinky things that I get to blog about the next day. Anyway, I’m not on the computer much that day, so I miss out on all the Brunchly fun. Recently, Bonnie’s been putting up questions I’ve really been sorry to miss out on. So, I’m just going to belatedly jump in on the action…

Yesterday’s question was:

Do you publish a spanking-oriented blog? If so, what is it about blogging that you enjoy? What is the biggest negative? How does blogging impact the rest of your life?

Obviously, I publish a spanking-oriented blog. I’ve been doing kink-oriented blogging since 2001, when my dear friend Tamsyn sucked me into the LiveJournal universe. LJverse? Anyway, I loved it there, and blogged my little heart out about what was then happening in my life: I was together with A., and we were having all sorts of kinky adventures that we chronicled on DarkPlay.net ; my blog gave me a place to write about the shoots we were doing, and the inspirations that were behind them, and the funny things that happened during them, etc. Also, because it had a “friends only,” mode, I could write more private posts that only my nearest and dearest could read.

That’s how I fell in love with blogging. I remember before then, having a journal online seemed like such a strange idea! Why would you put down your innermost thoughts for all to see? Now, everyone and their brother’s cousin’s aunt are frantically pouring forth their experiences, dreams, and rants.

And the sexy blogging took off just as fast. The minute someone realised they could have an anonymous blog, suddenly there were sex blogs whooshing across the net like wildfire.

I tried having an anonymous journal for a while, when I first got together with Mr Defeu. A. and I had had the world’s most painful break-up, and we were still trying to be friends, and she still read my journal, so I didn’t want to rub my happiness, and my new sexual adventuring, in her face. So I tried just having a new journal, an anonymous one, because I really wanted to write about all this amazing stuff that was happening to me — and I didn’t feel I could write about it in my old journal anymore.
But then the journal started getting interest, and I was really proud of it, and wanted the writing I was doing associated with my name. At the same time, LiveJournal started instituting some nasty censorship policies … and so it seemed clear it was time to move to a new home, where I could put my real name on my words, without any censorship, for any reason (self or otherwise imposed).

It was hard to leave the LJ communities at first — I felt very alone, out in the blogosphere by myself. But I started making friends, like dear Paul, and getting readers who commented, and in the end, this is actually much better than LJ, for me, and I wish I’d just always had this blog.

There’s no way to really explain what I like about blogging — I think the word is “everything.” I’m a writer, so I love writing. I love reading, and making friends with other bloggers — and getting to know people from their words and thoughts, even though I might have no idea what they look like, or even who they are. And I love exposing myself this way. If I’m any kind of exhibitionist, I’m a word-exhibitionist. I don’t mind baring my body, but I love baring my soul.

There aren’t really any negatives for me. And as for how it effects my life … well, I try to write a blog post as often as I can, so it’s a pretty huge part of my life. I try to respond in a timely manner to the people who are kind enough to leave comments, and I work on keeping the design snazzy and fun, and looking around for stuff that will interest people. I think I’d have to actually get sucked into the computer (like in Tron!) for it to have any more impact on my life! ;)

Oh, and of course, Mr Defeu and I have to think of things like taking a picture of my bottom before and after a spanking, so it also adds a certain element of fun, beyond the fact that I already enjoy it immensely!

Porn may decrease rape rates

Hello! I’m back from my travels! I’ve got so much to write about that I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed (an excess of jet-lag may be adding to this feeling) so instead I’ll link to a post I got off Neil Gaiman’s blog today. It’s an article that points out a correlation between increasing consumers of internet porn, and decreasing rape statistics. Which I’ve been trying to tell people all along, but I didn’t have the stats and standing to back me up….

Rape, Porn and Criminality: Political Truth on Trial.

Here’s just a sample, the last few paragraphs….

Although the Reagan Commission had at its disposal all the evidence gathered by psychology and social-science departments throughout the world on the question whether a student’s exposure to pornography increased his tendency to commit antisocial acts, I found that the Commission was unable to adduce a shred of evidence to support its affirmative conclusion. No scientist had ever found that pornography raised the probability of rape. However, the Commission was not seeking truth; rather, as I said in the title to my article, it sought political truth.

Neither Professor Schauer nor the other Commissioners ever responded to my William & Mary article. Now they can forget it. For if they had been right that exposure to pornography leads to an increase in social violence, then the vast exposure to pornography furnished by the internet would by now have resulted in scores of rapes per day on university campuses, hundreds of rapes daily in every town, and thousands of rapes per day in every city. Instead, the Commissioners were so incredibly wrong that the incidence of rape has actually declined by the astounding rate of 85%.

Correlations aside, could access to pornography actually cause a decline in rape? In my article I mentioned one possibility: that some people watching pornography may “get it out of their system” and thus have no further desire to go out and actually try it. Another possibility might be labeled the “Victorian effect”: the more that people covered up their bodies with clothes in those days, the greater the mystery of what they looked like in the nude. The sight of a woman’s ankle was considered shocking and erotic. But today, internet porn has thoroughly de-mystified sex. Times have changed so much that some high school teachers of sex education are beginning to show triple-X porn movies to their students in order to depict techniques of satisfactory intercourse.

I am sure there will be other explanations forthcoming as to why access to pornography is the most important causal factor in the decline of rape. Once one accepts the observation that there is a precise negative correlation between the two, the rest can safely be left to the imagination.

What Anthony D’Amato doesn’t touch (for good reasons, I’m sure) is my theory that for people whom rape is a fantasy, getting to do rape-role-play can give them a way, between two consenting adults, to scratch that “itch” in a non-antisocial way. And I think seeing porn sites can give people who hadn’t really thought of sexual role-play as an option some new ideas on how to realize their fantasies without anyone getting hurt. Or the porn sites can simply give would-be rapists an outlet to jerk off and not actualize their fantasies at all (which I happen to know for sure is what a number of would be rapees do.)

Unrelated, here is a wonderful commentary on the horrible “Proposition 8″ that very sadly passed in the state where I live….

See more Jack Black videos at Funny or Die

Actually, in retrospect, that video is not unrelated. The close-minded people of the world (generally “the religious right”) think that both porn and gay marriage are bad things, and work to suppress and otherwise outlaw them. But both are really good things, and mostly bring joy and stabilty into the world. And people need to band together and support free speech and equal marriage rights for all.

I don’t often get up on a political soapbox. You lot come here for pleasure and diversion, and I respect and understand that. And I know that I get a wide variety of people coming through here, and I don’t want to alientate anyone. But these views are both near and dear to my heart, and I just had to share them.
