Hello my poor neglected readers!

I am still deeply under the influence of a nasty case of jet-lag (also perhaps recovery from one of the most intense, wonderful weekends of my life), and so I’m just not ready to give you an account of myself at Mrs Darlings Academy during the Winter Term, 2010.

I assure you, however, that there is much of an account to be made. I’m afraid yours truly did manage to get herself in a wee bit of trouble at Finishing School. There were some hot moments in the chilly rooms of the ancient Scottish castle where we gels tried to learn the finer aspects of deportment and ladylike behaviour.

Until I can recover enough to get my mushy brains producing something, I have an impressive and ever-growing list of the recountings of my fellow students, and even of our most impressive Deputy Head, Miss Amelie Hammond-Grant (Or Miss Ham-and-Eggs, to go by the nickname lovingly applied to her by the ever-naughty Miss Tombola van Hoyden!)

I shall list them below, with the names they used at school.

After the entertainment the drinks flowed and so did the punishments. I think we all received further punishments for one infraction or another. While the atmosphere seemed relaxed I took the opportunity to slip off with Zille. We had spectacular girlie fun and were both pleased as punch to have got away with it, or so we thought. When I returned to the dining room one of the girls pointed out my love-bite. Oh dear. With short hair I would never cover it. I went out for s smoke to think on what to do, when I encountered both Mrs Darling and Miss Hammond-Grant. I must have looked ultra guilty or worried as Mrs Darling, genuinely concerned stopped me to ask if I was alright. I said I was and tried to ease my way past them as quickly as possible. Suspicious both tutors took a closer look and of course noticed the love bite. Oh dear. Groundhog day. I was in trouble. Again. Finally I was released with a promise that I would be dealt with in assembly for such an infraction.

Even a gal not attending Mrs D’s Academy has learned some lessons from it: Irelynn Logeen: Weekend Lessons.

Before I sign off for the evening, I want to note that some of the young ladies who attended Mrs Darling’s Academy do not have their own blogs. (Indeed, Mrs Darling herself does not have a blog!) I’d like to invite anyone involved with Mrs D’s fine institution to feel free to count my blog as a home for their accounts of and/or ruminations upon the event. Just email me (zilledefeu at gmail dot com, for those who don’t want to use the contact form on the about page) or ping me via Twitter or other social networking site, and I’ll be happy to give your writings the exposure they deserve (and we all want to read!)

(To already quoted people: If I have not spelled your name right, left bits off, or used another name for you, it’s because that seemed the safest bet — or in the case of a spelling error, because my guess was unlucky! Please correct me to what you prefer!)

I’ve been away from this blog too much recently, a combination of travel, holidays, and some poor health, and it’s been taking me forever to catch up with my friends in the spankosphere. But the fault is not mine! So many blogs have been pouring out really brilliant stuff recently.

First up, I’m totally jealous of Adele Haze, who did a kinky 12 Days of Christmas. That’s just the hottest thing ever. (And, unlike Leia-Ann Woods, I am still a “a spanking virgin of 2010” so when I say I’m jealous, I really mean it!)

Spankingblog.com posted the coolest Krampus picture as his Christmas gift to us this year. Thanks!

Kami did a scene with HH which gave her the wondrous revelation about herself as a spanko. While I personally would like to be left alone while I exercise (it hurts enough, thankyouverymuch, and when I work out I’m just focused on moving my body correctly or if it’s yoga, maintaining proper alignment, so I don’t need painful distractions) I agree with Kami that yes, everyone wants to see girls in gym shorts take a caning. At least my Master does, and his tastes have not just rubbed off on mine — completely supplanted (or at least modified) most of my fantasies.

EmmaJane visited a very dark fantasy recently. It really worked for me! (Although if you have abuse issues, I don’t recommend you try it – it’s all-too well-written.)

And The Spanking Writers always set a high standard, but even they have been sharing the most brilliant stuff recently. The pencil between the teeth story, for one, and a Christmas spanking, and then … well, I was totally bowled over when they honoured me with “Hottest Kinky Blog” in their The 2009 Spanking Writers Awards. I still haven’t thanked them properly, and honestly I don’t really know how – it means so much to me!

There are questions going around the spanko community (both online and off) about the identity of “Fiona Locke,” author of Over the Knee
and On the Bare.

I’ve read Over the Knee, and just adored it. And in the afterword, we read: “Apparently I’m the first Nexus author to pose for the cover of her own book.” And there she is, bright red bottom upturned over the knee — truth in advertising, for once!

But we don’t get to see Ms. Locke’s face….

I think it’s quite obvious from the writing that this author does actually have experience with the wide word of CP (unlike some authors of spanking erotica, but we won’t get into that here!) Also, even aside from the cover picture, we can tell the author is young: “Angie” is web-savvy (indeed, in the course of the story she takes part in a spanking website), goes out clubbing, and there’s a scene involving one of the characters stripping to ZZ Top in a North Carolinian strip-joint.

Of course, this doesn’t actually mean the author is a “she,” at all. In fact, it’s been bandied about that Fiona/Angie is actually Abel from The Spanking Writers (Although Abel denies it, he doesn’t say it’s not his wife Haron….)

So, what do we know…?

• We have the names “Fiona Locke” and “Angie“, each with their own website. (With the latter website referencing the former, so “Angie” is not afraid of being “outed” as Fiona — but Fiona doesn’t seem to want to link to Angie.)
• In the back of the book, Lucy McLean from Northern Spanking is thanked. Does Lucy know Fiona/Angie? Has she seen her face?
  On the English Vice website, Angie thanks “my friend Mija” — does Mija know who she is? If Lucy and Mija know her, has she been going to spanking parties all this time incognito?!
• Also on the English Vice website, we can see a bit of Angie’s face…
• EmmaJane claims not to be Fiona/Angie.
