One of the nice things about going to Cambridge University was the fact that it was a copyright library and was entitled to a free copy of everything published in Britain. I was thus able to go to the “arcana” collection and read Victorian spanking pornography in the original editions.

Zille, I believe that “The Pearl” was the first real porn I read, I found it in a shop off Charing Cross Road.
